ABOUT ME, THROUGH THE YEARS
When I was 10, My family moved cross-continents.
Moving from Brazil to The US, we brought with us a legacy of craftsmanship.
One of my grandfathers was a car mechanic and the other a pilot, so it’s no surprise I dreamed of being an engineer or car designer.
However, I grew up watching my Mother run a catering business from our VERY small kitchen in Rio. My mom’s passion for delivering happiness through food was contagious.
At 15, I got my first job and it shaped my adult life.
I was hired as a busboy at a retirement home's dining room, where I was captivated by the service team's tireless hard work and the kitchen crew's relentless passion. I was hooked.
20 years later, I connected all the dots.
As an operations manager, I discovered my talent for optimizing my team’s workflows, allowing the focus to be on delivering exceptional hospitality.
This drive for efficiency continues to guide me as a product designer.
Today,
I aim to keep eliminating the inefficiencies that hardworking people encounter daily, with the hope of making a lasting impact that extends beyond hospitality.
